Top 40 on Folk Revival Show Description: Top 40 folk songs. Between 1950-1970, almost sixty folk songs and/or songs by folk artists made the Billboard Top 40, and we will try to listen to as many of them as we can. Perhaps we'll even venture a little bit before and a little bit beyond those dates. Come revisit "The Great Folk Music Scare"—that brief stretch of time after Elvis entered the Army and before the Beatles kicked off the British Invasion. Enjoy the "Folk Top 40"!
