Soul Serenade Remembers Isaac Hayes


US soul legend Isaac Hayes has died at his home in Memphis. In ten days' time, he would have been 66. At the beginning of the 1970s, Hayes was one of the most prominent black soul singers and composers in the US. His title song for the film Shaft was a massive worldwide hit and earned him both an Oscar and a Grammy. In 2002, he was inducted into the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame.
