NEW YEAR'S EVE with Amy Black (Ballroom)

Event Date:
Saturday, December 31, 2011 - 8:00pm
Amy is a Boston singer/songwriter with storytelling and Southern tradition in her blood. In record time, she's become one of the most sought after acts in New England, selling out Club Passim, sharing stages with Chris Isaak,The Courtyard Hounds, Suzy Boggus and Rodney Crowell and playing to a packed house at The Boston Music Festival. Black recently made her mark down south on the live radio show Music City Roots hosted by Jim Lauderdale, as a headliner at The Basement (Nashville), Eddie's Attic (Georgia) and at the Americana Music Association Conference. The Boston Herald wrote that her "stunning debut" of original music on "One Time" brims with "beautifully imagined sound and soul." Amy got her start at the Bull Run and is back to rock the house with her band for this special New Year's Eve show. More info at: Ticket price includes a champagne toast at midnight.
