Tom has been at Quinsigamond Community College for more than a decade, serving as their Database Administrator, designing and monitoring the school’s computer systems operations to meet their educational and business objectives. He graduated from Berklee College of Music, Lowell University and Clark University, acquiring a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Composition and a Master of Science Degree in Information Technology.
He has worked at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, University of Massachusetts Hospital, Athena Diagnostics, and taught Music and Band in the Worcester Public Schools for 8 years. In addition, he performs with the QCC Faculty Jazz Quartet and with his Jazz Quartet, “B3,” has traveled and performed with many local and musicians and professional bands like Wayne Cochran and the CC Riders. As a student of the great alto sax player Henry ‘Boots’ Mussulli, he played in the Milford Youth Jazz Orchestra with great musicians like Jakie Stevens, Tony Lada, Jerry Secco, and Bob Tagmani.
