The 1930s saw a revolution in the writing of science fiction. Under the editorship of John W. Cambell, the magazine Astounding published a new wave of writers like Robert Heinlein and Isaac Asimov that ushered in what would be called the Golden Age. On this episode of Inquiry, we talk with writer ALEC NEVALA-LEE about his history ASTOUNDING: JOHN W. CAMBELL, ISAAC ASIMOV, ROBERT HEINLEIN, L. RON HUBBARD AND THE GOLDEN AGE OF SCIENCE FICTION.  This book is a finalist for the 2019 Hugo Awards.
