The true test of one’s character is often defined by a life-altering experience. In his new book; “The Worst Place Than Hell”, educator and Pulitzer Prize-winning author, John Matteson highlights the life and times of five individuals, Louisa May Alcott, Walt Whitman, Oliver Wendell Holmes Jr, Arthur Fuller, and John Pellham. These five Americans were tested both physically and emotionally during a time in US history when all seemed lost. Tune in this week when Al speaks with John Matteson about his book.
