Although she was known to the general American public as the author of the play A Raisin In the Sun, a young, well-educated housewife, Lorraine Hansberry was so much more. She was a radical committed to mass and collective movement for change, a self-confessed “heterosexually married lesbian”. Tonight on Inquiry we talk with SOYICA DIGGS COLBERT. She is the interim dean of faculty and Idol Family Professor of the College of Arts and Sciences at Georgetown University.
