Anne Nelson

Sunday, October 22, 2017 - 10:30pm

Suzanne Spaak was born into a prosperous Belgian family, and married into the country’s leading political family. She and her husband Claude, a playwright and patron of the painter René Magritte, enjoyed a life of luxury in Paris—until the Nazi occupation. Spaak joined the Resistance in Paris, and played an essential role in “kidnapping” hundreds of Jewish children to save them from deportation and the gas chambers. Tune in this Sunday evening at 10:30  when Al speaks with best selling author Anne Nelson about her riveting new book; SUZANNES CHILDREN.
